What Does Membership Get You?

Members may vote in all party officer elections and may vote in all deadlock ballots. Non-members may do neither, but can participate in all other parts of the Party. If you want to get involved without membership you should click here.

Cytgord Cymru members also automatically get voting rights in Harmony Party UK (but this does not work the other way around).

Wondering what we'll do with your money?

Fifty percent of your subs will go to the Party Treasury, which pays for operational costs of the Party (and election stuff too). If your constituency assembly has a secretary and a treasurer, 25% of that 50% will go directly to your constituency assembly instead.

The other fifty percent will be allocated to the Mutual Aid Fund, which aims to support actions (both by us and not) to do good in communities across the country – even before we begin to compete in elections.

The MAF can be accessed by any Harmony assembly committing to a mutual aid project – empowering our advocacy assemblies to do real good in their own communities with no-one to say "no".

Contribution rules You must not contribute more than £500 per year to the Political Fund. If you are found to contribute more than £500 per year to the Political Fund, the excess will be refunded to you. 50% of all member subs are donated to the Mutual Aid Fund. You must either be resident in the UK, or if not resident in the UK, then eligible to vote in UK elections, in order to join or donate to any Party Political Fund for a member party of the Harmony Federation (currently Harmony Party UK & Cytgord Cymru). You must either be resident in Wales, or if not resident in Wales, then eligible to vote in Welsh local and Senedd elections in order to join Cytgord Cymru. I confirm that the above statements are true and accurate.
